The mistake most people think when it comes to weight loss is thinking that weight loss is the ultimate end goal.
They search for quick fixes like diets or pills, thinking that once they reach a certain weight, their life will magically get better and they won’t have to put in any more effort.
That’s false.
Instead, you should focus on turning healthy habits into a lifestyle, making them an integral part of your life.
This way, the weight will come off inevitably and stay off. But the weight loss will be just a bonus, the real big deal changes will be:
-improved health (lower risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, arthritis, improved digestive health)
-improved mental health (those with depression and anxiety in particular benefit a lot from making healthy lifestyle changes)
-increased self-esteem and confidence (also linked to improved mental health)
-increased energy
-improved quality of life (due to improved health and increased self-esteem)
I’m not trying to make it sound too good to be true, this is literally the experience and changes I personally went through.
