Cheat codes that made my physical and emotional wellness journey more efficient that you should steal from me
1). Put my phone away somewhere I can’t see it an hour before my bed time.
2). Build my meals around a protein source.
3). Give myself an extra hour in bed to how many hours of sleep I need (I need 8hrs of sleep, so I go to bed 9hrs before my wake up time).
4). Have multiple bottles of water and have them easily available and placed around my house.
5). Dedicate time to meal prepping to save time later on in the week.
6). Schedule my workouts into my calendar and treating them like appointments I can’t miss.
7). Keep track of every workout with the reps, weights, sets, and exercise I do.
8). Do a physical activity outside of the gym that I enjoy at least once a week (dancing, hiking, tennis, ice skating are just some of my favourites).
9). Dedicate at least 5 minutes before bed to meditate.
10). Have healthy snacks always ready in the house.
